Planning to use your Nepali documents abroad? Whether for study, work, migration or marriage, documents usually need to be translated, notarized and then legalized before a foreign authority will accept them.
Using Nepali documents internationally
Foreign universities, employers and governments require your documents in a recognized language and authenticated form. The first steps — accurate translation and notarization — make your documents ready; the later government attestation steps are completed with the authorities.
The general process
- Certified translation into English or the destination language. We provide this.
- Notarization by a registered notary public. We provide this.
- MoFA attestation & embassy legalization — government steps you complete with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the destination country's embassy. We do not perform these.
Why translation and notarization matter
Errors at the translation or notarization stage are the most common cause of rejected documents. Certified, accurate translation and proper notarization keep the rest of the process smooth.
Common documents used abroad
- Academic transcripts, mark sheets and degrees
- Citizenship, birth and marriage certificates
- Police reports and affidavits
- Business and financial documents
